About the university
In February 2000, a West African Regional Episcopal Conference (CEREAO) was held in Conakry, Republic of Guinea. The bishops participating in this conference have therefore decided to create the Catholic University of West Africa (UCAO). The UCAO-UUT is thus one of the derivatives of the Large UCAO network in the process of being established in the sub-region. Thus, After so many years dedicated to the promotion of primary, secondary and technical education in our country, the Family Church of God in Togo has opened its University Unit within the network of the Catholic University of Africa. (UCAO), whose mission is to help students become men and women eminent in their science, ready to take on the heaviest tasks in society, at the same time as the witnesses of the faith in the world.
