Tietgen is a trade school that offers both hhx and the mercantile vocational training; EUD and EUX as well as courses and further education at Tietgen KompetenceCenter. We are proud that we are named after the businessman C.F. Tietgenkollegiet. Tietgen was initiated on September 14, 1954, as a merger of three independent trade schools in Odense. Since then, development has gone fast. Tietgen is today a modern knowledge and competence center that develops targeted education in close collaboration with large and medium-sized companies across the country. We participate in nationwide education networks and have a significant position in management training and continuing education. Through our close cooperation with other knowledge centers - and not least companies - we ensure access to the latest knowledge and at the same time a close link to practice. This means that a very large proportion of our students and students are either in a job - or immediately after they have been with us. Tietgen is named after the financier and the odense man Carl Frederik Tietgen (1829-1901). One of Danish industry's most innovative, dynamic and internationally oriented leaders throughout the ages.
