Zealand Business College (Handelsskolen Sjælland Syd)

Zealand Business College (ZBC) is a Danish business school, consisting of four departments in Roskilde, Ringsted, Næstved and Vordingborg. ZBC has arisen on the basis of a merger of Næstved Handelsskole and Vordingborg Handelsskole, where they changed their name in 2002 to Handelsskolen Sjælland Syd. On September 9, 2009, the boards of the South Sealand University of Næstved and Vordingborg and EUC Ringsted decided to merge the two institutions and renamed Zealand Business College (ZBC). The merger took place in the summer of 2010. In 2015 there was also a merger with the Battlefield School in Roskilde, which became part of the ZBC. ZBC offers both upper secondary education, hhx (higher trade exam) and htx (higher technical exam) as well as vocational education, such as basic and main course for watchmaker, pastry chef, baker, mechanic, IT supporter and merchant vocational training in both Trade, office and exist. ZBC also offers a specially adapted youth education (STU) for young people with diagnoses within the autism spectrum. At the same time, the school has adult and continuing education, short courses and longer education courses for both individuals, companies, institutions and organizations. If you have an apprenticeship for example in the field of textiles, nutrition or other areas that the school offers, you also have the opportunity to take your compulsory school stay at ZBC.
