About the university
Mercantec is the largest educational institution in Viborg Municipality with approximately 500 employees and 3000 annual students, apprentices and course participants. Mercantec´s vision is to maintain and expand the range of technical and commercial educations in an attractive educational environment. Furthermore, Mercantec would like to be the preferred local educational institution for young people and adults within vocational educations, vocational colleges, short-cycle higher educations as well as courses and in-service training. Mercantec has a wide range of upper secondary educations, courses and in-service training. Moreover, it is one of the largest suppliers of in-service courses in Denmark and its teachers are well-known for their high level of expertise.
