Established in 1982, Universidad Adventista Dominicana (Dominican Adventist University) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the the rural setting of the large town of Bonao (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Monsenor Nouel. Officially accredited/recognized by the Ministerio de Educación Superior, Ciencia y Tecnología, República Dominicana (Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Dominican Republic), Universidad Adventista Dominicana (UNAD) is a very small (enrollment range: 1,000-1,999 students) coeducational higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Protestant (Seventh Day Adventist - www.adventist.org) religion. Universidad Adventista Dominicana (UNAD) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation degrees), bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study.
