About the university
UNNATEC began its academic-administrative operations in September 2004 at the facilities located at Avenida Independencia, in the premises of the National Computer Science School, which served as an extension of continuing education of the Unnatec. 4 degree level courses were opened (Bachelor in Marketing, Accounting, Administration and Systems and Information Technology and a program at the Technical Higher level in Informatics). It makes great efforts to consolidate itself in the Dominican higher education market, imposing the particular stamp of the technologies to all its programs and the virtualization to enrich the teaching - learning process. Originally presided over by the Honorable Rector, Lic. Osvaldo Mendieta and the Academic Vice-Rector Mr. Luis Manuel Paulino Mars.
