About the university
he UDET began its presence in the university sector in the year 2000 after a long journey of 15 years of experience in the technological level. The national need for new professionals in non-traditional careers is the driving force behind the new venture that began in 1996. In March 2000, the Honorable National Congress issued the Decree Law creating the University of Tourism Specialties UCT, thus responding to the undeniable need of the country to have a university that specializes in teaching tourism.
