About the university

He received the authorization and appropriations necessary to create Practical and industrial chemistry laboratory at the Faculty of Science in Paris. The University of Paris leaves free temporary buildings located on 3 Rue Michelet. Charles Friedel became director and first class, the number of 50 students admitted on November 3, 1896.
