About the university
Higher Institute of Electronics and Digital Sciences (ISEN, pronounced [isɛn]) is a private non-profit group under contract with the French Ministry of Higher Education and Research, which groups together in France three of the 210 schools Of French engineers qualified to deliver an engineering degree, as well as a school in Morocco. The historical site is the school of Lille, founded in 1956 by Norbert Ségard. It defines itself as "generalist engineers of new technologies". The acronym ISEN was that of the Higher Institute of Electronics of the North until October 2003. In 2004, the ISEN group is distributed in France on the three campuses of Lille (formerly the "Higher Institute of Electronics of the North" created In 19562), Brest (formerly the "Institut Supérieure d'Electronique de Bretagne" created in 1994) and Toulon (formerly the "Higher Institute of Electronics in the Mediterranean") created in 1991. The ISEN (Higher Institute of Electronics and Digital) was chosen in October 2003 in connection with the motto of the group "One school, three campuses"
