The University of Technology of Belfort-Montbéliard (UTBM) is one of the 210 French engineering schools authorized to award an engineering degree. The university, which is a public institution of higher education and research located in Belfort, Sevenans and Montbéliard (Franche-Comté region, France), has 3,030 students for the academic year 2015 - 2016 The UTBM is the result of the merger of the National School of Engineering of Belfort (ENIBe) created in 1962, and the antenna of the University of Technology of Compiègne established in 1985 in Sevenans, now "Polytechnic Institute of Sevenans "(IPSé) in 1991. UTBM was founded in 19994. It is part of the University of Technology of Compiègne and the University of Technology of Troyes of the Network of Universities of Technology
