About the university
An association governed by the law of 1901 , with the agreement of the Ministry of Culture and Communication, the CFPTS is the training organization whose profession has since 1974 provided the pedagogical answers most adapted to the needs of Training of technical personnel of the performing arts. It fits into the field of continuing education and offers over 90 courses and training courses per year, short, medium or long term. These modules promote professionalization or accompany the development of skills within the framework of all the mechanisms of the right to training. Its Board of Directors is made up of representatives of the employers' unions (private theaters, Syndeac, Synpase ...), trade unions (Synptac), national theaters and the Ministry of Culture and Communication. Together with the Director, it defines the main orientations in terms of training that the profession needs.
