The National School of Applied Arts and Crafts (ENSAAMA) was created by the School of Applied Arts in Industry, created in 1922, and the École des métiers d'art, founded in 1941, Which occupied the premises of the old Hotel Salé, in the Rue de Thorigny, now the Picasso Museum. ENSAAMA is today a professional lycée that welcomes 900 students for post-bac arts training, with a diversified professional character. It is currently one of the four major establishments in Paris preparing for applied arts and crafts (with the Boulle, Duperré and Estienne schools), all of which have a strong reputation in the field of applied arts and crafts Art, the fruit of their selectivity and their antiquity.
