About the university
The meeting of the higher schools of fine arts in Tours, Angers and Le Mans as a Public Establishment for Cultural Co-operation appears first and foremost as the completion of a pedagogical reform, one of the objectives of which is to join European higher education with the Recognition of diplomas and in particular of the DNSEP diploma at the master level. This status facilitates the development of research centers and boosts a hub of higher education between three cities. The EPCC is, therefore, the first successful initiative of a broad public policy at the national level, envisaging the development of international cooperation, a dynamic of exchanges and the valorisation of lessons. The three sites Angers Le Mans Tours form a unique institution of higher education of the arts with interregional vocation. This institution brings together two regions, three departments and three cities - metropolises, it hosts 580 students and 110 teachers artists and theorists.
