About the university
The École supérieure du bois ( ESB ) is one of the 210 French engineering schools that have been awarded an engineering degree . Placed under the supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture , it was founded in 1934 . Originally, its creation met a dual need both for professionals and for the administration: to give the Corps of engineers of rural engineering and waters and forests a real knowledge of the transformation of wood and to train engineers making Wood manufacturers. Legally, BSE is an association of 1901 law which is managed by a president elected by the board of directors .
