About the university
IRTS is responsible for providing initial, continuing and higher professional training for social workers. This mission is fixed by the 22 August 1986 . Since 2002, it is also possible for professionals to validate their diplomas by validating the experience gained . The IRTS are intended to encourage interprofessional transversality by mutual recognition of the training courses and their respective fields of competence. To do this, the IRTS propose sessions of exchanges on the practices and apply to bring together the students coming from different formations during courses under common trunks. IRTS offers a range of different levels of training.
