About the university
Telecom ParisTech, formerly Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications, Telecom Paris and Ecole Supérieure de Telegraphie, is one of the most prestigious French engineering schools. It is one of the 210 French engineering schools authorized to award an engineering degree. The school was founded in 1878. Today, as a large generalist school, Télécom ParisTech specializes in information and telecommunications sciences and technologies. Today it is attached to the Institut Mines-Télécom and is part of the Conférence des grandes écoles and ParisTech. It is located in Paris and Sophia Antipolis (Eurécom institute). The school is one of the actors of the Paris-Saclay University. The relocation of its buildings on the Saclay plateau is planned for 2019, as well as that of the general management of the Mines-Télécom Institute.
