About the university
Founded in 1892 and opened in 1894 under the name of the Chemistry Institute of Lille , the School ensures its teaching within the faculty of sciences of Lille. For more than 110 years, ENSCL has been passing on the passion for chemistry. It is with enthusiasm that we train high-level chemists whose qualities and merits are recognized throughout the world. Strong links with businesses , a tradition of international trade , a research high level associated with an ethical vision of the formation and chemical uses are the fundamentals of our school.
