About the university
The National School of Chemistry in Mulhouse (ENSCMu) was the first school of chemistry, to be founded in France in 1822 by industrialists whose objective was to develop the training of their employees and hence the competitiveness of their companies. The ENSCMu is one of the components of the University of Haute-Alsace . It is now part of the Fédération Gay-Lussac , which brings together 19 French schools of chemistry and chemical engineering. Teaching at the school covers all fields of chemistry, as well as extensive practical training. It is also part of the network Alsace Tech 1 which brings together the 14 major engineering schools of Alsace.
