About the university
Founded in 1977 and located 200 km west of Paris, the University of Maine is a multidisciplinary institution of 10,600 students on two campuses, Le Mans and Laval. With its 3 faculties , 2 IUTs and 1 engineering school (Ensim), it offers training and research activities of internationally recognized expertise in science and technology, as well as in letters and languages, law, economics, management, science Human and social rights. The Université du Maine has 15 research laboratories, 8 of which are associated with the CNRS.
