About the university
Our doctoral school ensures the follow-up and the support of the PhD students during their thesis. She is listening to them and helps them in the realization of their professional project. It also organizes the training course and manages the administrative dimension of doctoral studies. ED DEGEST hosts more than 450 doctoral students working in five different disciplines: law, economics, management sciences, sociology and geography. It brings together three higher education institutions: the University of Nantes, the University of Angers and the University of Maine and is supported by eleven high-level research teams located on the three sites. For these different subjects, the DEGEST doctoral school is your only contact in the Pays de la Loire region, except for the law for which there is another doctoral school (Pierre Couvrat), which brings together lawyers from Angers and Le Mans Within a school piloted by Poitiers.
