About the university
La Rochelle Business School, created in 1988, is a French university-level institution of higher education and member of the network of French Grandes Ecoles. It is a non-profit organisation linked to the La Rochelle Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI). Olivier Guyottot is the Dean for the Group as of 2016. The school has an enrollment of approximately 3,400 students. The school is a permanent member of the Business Schools’ Conference (Conférence des Grandes Ecole) since 2005, it possesses ISO 9001 certification.[4] In June 2013, the Business School was officially granted for the prestigious AACSB Accreditation, reaching the top level of the 5% leading business schools of the world. By September 1, 2016, La Rochelle Business School has incorporated ESCEM, the former, AACSB accredited School of Business and Management of Tours, Poitiers, and Orléans. LRBS has also been awarded with TedQual accreditation, delivered by the World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), for all its programs in Tourism Management. It is the first and only school in France to obtain TedQual accreditation for both Bachelor and MBA programs.
