About the university
Grenoble Institute of Technology is a public sector technology university with over 4 800 students and 1,100 teaching and research fellows, admin and technical staff. Over 1,170 engineering masters, 330 research masters and 738 doctorates are awarded each year, as well as around a hundred internal qualifications. Grenoble Institute of Technology is commited to excellent research and contributes to 36 research laboratories, including 11 international laboratories, and 26 laboratories in partnership with France's Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique and Université Grenoble Alpe. In addition, Grenoble Institute of Technology has a strong international reach, and is part of student exchange programmes with research and higher education partners in over 50 countries.
