About the university
La Haute école des arts du Rhin (HEAR) est née en janvier 2011 de la fusion des « Arts déco » - l'École supérieure des arts décoratifs de Strasbourg (ESADS) - de l'École supérieure d'art de Mulhouse (Le Quai) et des enseignements supérieurs de la musique du conservatoire de Strasbourg, en un seul et même établissement d’enseignement supérieur artistique. La HEAR offre en France le plus grand choix de diplômes en arts plastiques, ainsi que des formations musicales d’excellence. Elle regroupe des enseignements dans les champs de la musique, de l’art contemporain, de la communication visuelle et du design. Implantée sur trois sites à Mulhouse et Strasbourg, elle prépare quelque 700 étudiants à devenir des créateurs, auteurs, musiciens, graphistes, artistes, illustrateurs, etc.
