About the university
3iL (Institute for Computer Science and Engineering of Limoges) is a French high school of engineering specialised in computing. Founded by the CCI of Limoges (Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie), 3iL trains engineers specialised in Information Technology since 1987. 3iL offers 2 postgraduate programmes : Engineer diploma and Master. Students join the 3iL institute after having studied 2 or 3 years in science and technology after the baccalaureat (A level). Then, 3iL offers to them the possibility to follow either the engineer curriculum or the european Master of computer science curriculum. The engineer curriculum is a 3-years full-time training which result in the French "diplôme d'ingénieur", authorised by the CTI (commission for engineering graduation), and by the French ministry of Industry and Finance, and leads to the European Master degree. This scientific Curriculum can be specialised with many options : Databases, web developement, security, mobile network and multimedia systems, Image processing, object orienting programming, embarked systems, High throughput Networks... The European Master of Computer science is a 2-years full-time training with entrance at bachelor level, with options in Information Systems management and Networks Systems management.
