About the university
INUFOCAD was founded in January 2001 under the name of the Higher Institute of Pedagogical Studies (ISEP), an initiative whose mission was to train cadres for the transformation of the Haitian education system, particularly in the northern regions West and south-east of the country. After three years of experience in teacher training, ISEP has evolved into a University Institute for Executive Education (INUFOCAD). Thus, on May 18, 2004, the institute was finally created with a broader accessibility mission that aims to be a tool for social transformation through its bimodal system and the quality of training it intends to offer to the Haitian community. After three years of commitment to teacher training, INUFOCAD is now recognized by the Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training (MENFP) as a training operator; That is to say, the ability to conduct initial and continuing training sessions for Haitian educational system workers.
