About the university
The University Henri Christophe, (URHC) is a non-profit institution, it was created by a decree dated 18 September 1980, published in the Moniteur of 18 September. It is housed in a 19th century building in Cap-Haitien, the historical capital of the Department of the North and second city of the Republic of Haiti. Its mission is to educate young people, identify, plan and implement community development projects. To this end, its members have undertaken to contribute to the success of all development projects to be carried out in the department. The Executive Council of the Institution is determined to create a Modern Experimental Agricultural Center like what were the farms of Damien in the past with the advantages of the modernity of the University Henri Christophe is determined to work for Make this Institution a new Citadel of thought.
