Founded in 1986, Universidad Tecnológica de Honduras (Technological University of Honduras) is a non-profit private higher education institution located in the the urban setting of the medium-sized city of San Pedro Sula (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Cortes. Officially accredited/recognized by the Secretaría de Educación de Honduras (Ministry of Education of Honduras), Universidad Tecnológica de Honduras (UTH) is a large (enrollment range: 15,000-19,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Universidad Tecnológica de Honduras (UTH) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study.
