About the university
The opening of the Evangelical Christian New Millennium University "UCENM" required the creation of a foundation to support the operation of the same. This is how FUNDACRES was born a non-profit society with the primary purpose of promoting higher education in Honduras. The Evangelical Christian University New Millennium "UCENM" is legally supported with its legal status NO 201-99 which was granted by the ministry of governorship on November 30, 1999. Subsequently, the UCENM project was created, which was accepted by agreement of Higher Education number 841-132-2001 of March 9, 2001, beginning his academic work on September 03, 2001 in the colony La Reforma, being its first rector Dr. Manuel Figueroa. The careers with which the Christian Evangelical New Millennium University began operations were Theology and Clinical Laboratory. At present the university carries out its academic work in the Campus Llanos del Potrero being its current Rector Abog. María Antonia de Suazo.
