About the university
The theology of short courses organized Hajdúság Lajos Balogh, who is in Hamburg, the local seminary he graduated, in 1893. The first country-wide, 6-month training course in Hungary in nature "prédikátoriskolát" opened in Budapest in September 1899. A systematic theological education began in 1906, the founding of the Baptist Theological Seminary, a predecessor of the Baptist Theological College.
