Keilir is an integrated educational company owned by universities, companies and public organizations. The Bowling program is divided into four main areas of specialized, but in each division there are a variety of courses. Four areas are Háskólabrú, which aims to prepare students for enrolling in a university, the Flight Academy, which offers a different flugtengt training, the Academy of Sports, which provides IAK coaching and leiðsögunám adventure rights and engineering, which is divided into iðntæknifræði and mekatróník high-tech medicine.   Being the leader in the field of educational and technological innovations Keilir was founded in the spring of 2007 and is based on Ásbrú Reykjanesbayre in the former US military base. From the very beginning, the school aims to create a student community that includes an exclusive program focused on innovative teaching methods and first-class facilities. Keilir is a limited liability company and is one of the owners of the University of Iceland, Keflavik Airport Development Corporation, research institutes, energy and financial circles, public organizations, trade unions and airlines.
