About the university
Nalsar University of Law, officially the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), is a legal studies institution located in Shamirpet, Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Established in 1998 by an Act of the State Legislative Assembly (Act 34 of 1998) by the state of Andhra Pradesh, it was the second National Law University to be instituted in India and is considered to be one of the most prestigious law schools in the country. The university is fully residential.
