JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) was established in Jaipur, the capital city of Rajasthan, in the year 2011. The curriculum of the university provides for an emphasis on internship. The University is sponsored by the JK Organisation, an Indian industrial conglomerate. The university provides various undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral degrees.[citation needed] It has two well-established institutes, IET (Institute of Engineering & Technology) and IM (Institute of Management), and one institute on skill development is shortly commencing.
