About the university
Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology (RSET), established in 2001. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. Five UG programmes, i.e. B.Tech. Applied Electronics & Instrumentation, B.Tech. Computer Science & Engineering, B.Tech. Electrical & Electronics Engineering, B.Tech. Electronics & Communication Engineering, and B.Tech. Information Technology, have been granted provisional accreditation by NBA for 3 years w.e.f. July 2014. RSET is an endeavour of the Sacred Heart Province of the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) - the first-ever indigenous religious congregation for men in the Syrian Catholic tradition of Christianity in India. The CMIs draw inspiration from their founding father, the Blessed Kuriakose Elias Chavara, and are renowned as pioneers of education, having established institutions of excellence imparting quality education, across the length and breadth of the state and in various parts of India and abroad.
