About the university
Saraswathi Thyagaraja College is an Autonomous and Self financing Institution under the aegis of V.S.V. Vidhyaa Mandir, a charitable trust committed to provide quality education at affordable cost to the rural students of Pollachi region. The college offers 13 Under graduate degree courses, 8 Post graduate degree courses, 4 Research Programs and 4 Doctoral programs. STC strongly believe in the skill development of the students rather than students passing out with mere knowledge and searching for opportunities in the job market. In this context, it is noteworthy to mention that we have tied up with Talentsprint, Hyderabad to train all of our students on Aptitude skills, Technical skills and Soft skills on Integrated Learning Model which starts from first year itself. STC has a unique transformation model which calls for 40% of Knowledge sharing, 50 % of Skill development and 10% of Attitude which we humbly put it as our contribution towards Nation building exercise.
