Mamata Medical College is a private medical college with a teaching hospital, Mamata General Hospital in the heart of Khammam, Telangana, India. It is affiliated to Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. Mamata Medical College is the first private, self funded College to have earned final recognition from Medical Council of India as a Medical College, in the State of Andhra Pradesh with an intake of 150 admissions annually. Mamata Medical College was re-accreditated and awarded 'A' Grade (Very Good) with CGPA of 3.31 on four point scale by the NATIONAL ASSESSMENT AND ACCREDITATION COUNCIL, Bangalore on 1st May, 2015. Mamata College was also approved and accredited by Higher Learning Accreditation Commission of Texas (HLACT) in November 2015 for keeping up international education standards and academic quality procedures. The credit for this goes to the dedicated effort of staff, students and management. The Medical College was started in the year 1998 and has obtained final recognition from Medical Council of India and the Government of India in March, 2003.
