The Institution Bahubali College of Engineeing(BCE) was established during 1997 by His Holiness Jagadguru Karmayogi Swasthisree Charukeerti Bhattaraka Swamiji,the Chairman of the S.S.D.J. Jnana Prasaraka Sangha which is running Educational Institutes from Primary education to Graduate level in various disciplines / fields of study. It has gained experience and endeavours to produce bright young men and women for the millennium with excellence in technical knowledge. Bahubali College of Engineering is one of the growing educational institutions in Karnataka. It is located at Shravanabelagola. The college was established in 1997 by His Holiness Jagadguru Karmayogi Swasthisree Charukeerti Bhattaraka Swamiji. The institute is run by Jnana Prasaraka Sangha, which has established its name as an organization that runs several educational institutes from primary education to graduate level, to impart quality education in various disciplines/fields. Recognized by Government of Karnataka, Bahubali College of Engineering has gained the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, for conducting engineering courses. The institute is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum. Bahubali College of Engineering has been given the status of a Jain religious minority institution, by the Government of Karnataka.
