About the university
This college had its beginning in 1945 at intermediate level with just 47 students. Before the present building came into existence, the college was located in the Bagla School, Churu. It was shifted to the present location in 1949 when it was upgraded to graduation level in commerce stream. Expansion, in terms of building and other infrastructural facilities as well as number of students, continued and the college was upgraded to graduation level in 1949 with commerce faculty. The college has a huge double-storied building with large, well-ventilated rooms. Even though Seth K.L. Lohia had built a huge building for the college, more and more additions have been taking place gradually over a period of time.
