Lady Keane College, a pioneer in the field of women s education in the North- Eastern region of India, was established in the year 1935. With a legacy of eighty years of eventful existence, the college has to its credit a record of very distinguished service rendered to the cause of upliftment and empowerment of women through the spread of liberal education. The institution today, in many ways, is synonymous with the socioeconomic transformation taking place in the region and beyond. Our commitment to quality found its stamp of approval from the National Accreditation and Assessment Council (NAAC), Bangalore this year when this apex autonomous agency entrusted with the responsibility of assessing and accrediting institutions of higher learning in the country reaccredited our institution and awarded. A Grade with our quality profile standing at 3.09 (CGPA) on a 4 point scale.
