Al-Yarmouk University College

Yarmouk University College was established based on the approval of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research under her No. 4988 in 10/12/1996 and started college attendance in the academic year 1996/1997 as a civil scientific institution with legal personality and financial and administrative independence and enjoys full legal capacity to achieve its objectives. The College shall have the right to address all the relevant authorities to serve the educational and scientific objectives, and have the right to contact Arab and foreign universities. College curricula adopt the vocabulary of study approved in the Iraqi and other Arab and foreign universities. And based on the scientific plan of the College and its commitment to provide future opportunities for our students and supplying Iraq angels qualified highly SOBER qualified comparable to that of the public universities, the college has opened in the academic year 2005/2006 pathological analysis section and in the year 2006/2007 the college opened a new scientific departments are dental pharmacy and provided them all the scientific and service supplies with advanced modern laboratories in addition to a group of qualified professors, bringing her nine sections, six of them in the province of Diyala and three in Baghdad with an evening studies in some of its divisions. The certificate awarded by the college equivalent to the certificates awarded by public universities as the holder enjoys all the rights and privileges enjoyed by graduates of public universities, which appoints the first college graduate in one of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research institutions like the graduates of other universities. College aims through scientific departments to community service through an effective contribution to university education and the dissemination of knowledge and science to the largest possible number of the people according to the instructions and laws in force. The college seeks to attract qualified professors from inside and outside Iraq to strengthen their scientific and academic transfer of expertise and experience foreign to them, and they are working on the twinning of scientific departments with scientific departments of foreign universities honored. This in itself provides opportunities for practical and scientific graduates and opens them wide horizons to pursue their postgraduate studies to obtain a master's degree and doctorate outside Iraq, as well as their inalienable right to complete their higher education in Iraq. The college is not a place where the student receives only scientific expertise, knowledge and skills, it is the right center for the construction of the student's personality, development and prepared to be an active element in society.
