Founded in 1952, the Irish Management Institute (IMI) is a not-for-profit membership organisation dedicated to improving the standard of management practice in Ireland. IMI is Ireland’s premier provider of executive education. IMI offers businesses in Ireland the opportunity to partner with a locally based, world class executive education provider. IMI is a membership organisation, comprising more than 240 corporate members. IMI members reflect a spectrum of Irish industry, from our smallest micro-organisations to the world’s largest multinationals. IMI’s work brings it into contact with organisations from just about every walk of life, facing every kind of management challenge – from micro organisations to the world’s largest multinational companies. IMI has provided management training courses at its Sandyford Campus for over thirty years. Thousands of senior executives attend developmental programmes at IMI annually, ranging from NFQ level 9 Masters and Diploma qualifications to one and two day master classes. IMI also acts as a “business partner” for organisations that are looking to align comprehensive learning and development strategies to support the execution of business growth strategies. Common to all IMI programmes is the translation of academic best practice to real-world solutions for practising managers.
