About the university
The Conservatory, already a civic music school, was born as a detached section of the Conservatory of Pesaro and obtained its autonomy in 1999. The Conservatorio sponsors various editorial initiatives, among which it is enough to mention the important critical edition of the work of the musician Giuseppe Giordani (1751-1798), already the master of the chapel of the Fermo cathedral (the critical edition is published in 2013 by the editorial office of lucchese LIM - Italian Music Library).
