About the university
The Conservatory of Como, established in 1982 as a detached branch of the Conservatory of Milan, acquired legal autonomy since November 2, 1996. It is the youngest conservative in Lombardy. The Institute's activity - among the first in Italy to implement the reform of Higher Education (Law No. 508 of December 21, 1999) - proposes the three fundamental areas of musical formation: production, research and teaching, Year 2000 in the new three-year courses for achieving the first degree academic degree and, since 2003, in second-level biennial courses.
