Conservatory of Music Nino Rota Monopoli

The Nino Rota Conservatory is a major institute of music studios founded in Monopoli in 1971. It is housed in the eighteenth-century convent of St. Anthony, annexed to the homonymous church. From June 2012, the Director of the Conservatory is Master Antonio Papapietro, who is in charge of Master Giampaolo Schiavo, who has been in office since 2000. The Conservatory was born in 1971 as a detached section of Conservatory Niccolò Piccinni of Bari under the direction of Nino Rota, which was titled in 2004.
