About the university
After the spread of popular universities, the partnership was born on January 5, 1901 with the aim of "spreading popular classes, with modern methods, of natural science education, technical and aesthetic related to the notion of civic education" [1]. The first session was at the Olympia Theater, with the intervention of Gabriele d'Annunzio. Members who were soon in 1500 they paid 25 cents a year.
