About the university
On March 12, 1999, the Pontifical Theological Faculty of Sardinia was enrolled in the Register of "Legal Persons" at the Cagliari Court following the Ministerial Decree of 7 December 1998. The Cooperation Agreement between the University of Cagliari and the The Pontifical Faculty of Theology of Sardinia, signed on February 9, 1993 - and renewed on November 15, 2004 and again on July 25, 2011 - is the expression and the fruit of a journey marked by dialogue, desire and research of comparison, Autonomy for each of the two Institutions and, above all, mutual recognition of the importance of the knowledge and values of the two academic realities. On the basis of this agreement, it is allowed under reciprocity, for college students to obtain credits by taking courses free of charge, at the student's free choice, and passing the relevant examinations at the Theological Faculty. Therefore, teaching taught at the Faculty of theology can be included in specific curricular courses at the faculty of the University, as well as teachings attended by the faculty of the University can be included in specific curricular courses at the Theological Faculty.
