About the university
The High School for Language Mediators (SSML) of Pisa was founded in 1989 as a School for Interpreters and Translators recognized by the Ministry of University and Research. Following the Ministerial Decree n.38 / 2002 which the ordering of studies of the sector has been reformed, the school has got his personal recognition (Decree of 31/07/2003 published in the Official Gazette 203/2003) since then he is enabled to activate courses of three-year studies and to release the linguistic Ombudsman diploma equivalent to all legal effects to the Degree in Sciences of linguistic Mediation achieved in State Universities. The specific experience of the school in language training so was in 1989 but the Group Esedra , whose school is part, work in training young people of all age groups since 1977, with many facilities and brands and a single mission: put at the center of every activity the student.
