University of Sannio

The Benevento university campus, consisting of the Departments of Law, Economics, Management and Quantitative Methods of Engineering , the Sciences and Technology , which began as home jeweled University of Salerno, bought full administrative autonomy and teaching as from January 1, 1998 (DM 29/12/1997) and renamed University of Sannio in Benevento . As part of the Sunni National University higher education it is characterized by a cultural complex project, characterized, on the one hand, by training highly specialized, such as to qualify as a site of national importance for certain disciplines, on the other, by the promotional role that the University aims in the development process of the economic and social system of the Campania region, and in particular of its internal areas. The choice of a hypothesis settlement of universities according to the logic of strong integration with the territory becomes, therefore, unfailing stage for the creation of the University System - City summarizing the best Italian university tradition and expresses, above all, an option specific cultural and high civil commitment, intended to enhance the set of pre-existing potential in the area, zoning, building and social.
