Caritas Junior College (カリタス女子短期大学 Karitasu joshi tanki daigaku?) is a private Roman Catholic women's junior college in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan, established in 1966. It concentrates on French and English foreign language studies. The foundation of the Caritas Gakuen is the Quebec-Caritas Monastic Association in Canada. The Latin word "Caritas" means "love", and the purpose of the establishment of the school is entrusted to its name. The first sister dispatched from the headquarters monastery in Canada and its collaborators nurture the heart of "love" through the experience of real love - the experience to be loved, the experience to love, the children who go to the school are big, I asked him to grow up happily. In order to respond to the needs of Japanese society after the war, the junior high school senior high school, kindergarten and elementary school were established one after another, moved by limitless enthusiasm and hope, finally aiming for consistency in educational activities, in 1966 (Showa 41) I opened a Caritas Women's Junior College.
