Digital Hollywood University (DHU) is a Japanese private university located in Tokyo, Japan. The university was founded in 2005 and it specializes in Digital Content that includes 8 main specialized study areas; animation, 3D computer graphics, film, graphic design, web design・development, game・programming, advertising・PR・business, and media arts. The undergraduate curriculum at DHU allows considerable flexibility that permits each student to maximize their unique potential through the university’s integrated curriculum. DHU is a relatively small university with just over 1000 students with roughly 35% of this student body is made up of international students from various countries and backgrounds. As of April 1, 2019, DHU graduates have recorded employment rates of 91.7%. Digital Hollywood University (DHU) is a relatively small university with just over 1000 students with roughly 35% of this student body is made up of international students from various countries and backgrounds. DHU welcomes international students from all over the world. We also offer various tuition waivers and scholarships to support privately-funded international students throughout their studies.
Student visa
In order to attend DHU from overseas, you are required to have a valid passport and a student visa. You must obtain a passport on your own, and your passport must be valid for a minimum of 6 months after your arrival in Japan. International students also need to obtain a “Student Visa” stamped in their passport before arriving in Japan in accordance with the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act. DHU will support all international students to obtain a student visa.
Accommodation
