Abbreviated name of the university is Nakamura. The first school opened by the school corporation Nakamura Gakuen was the Fukuoka Higher Nutrition School (abolished in 1958), which opened in 1954 (Showa 29). After that, in 1957 (Showa 32) he was a junior college, and in 1965 (1965) he opened a university.
